Project SAFE – Free Smoke Alarms
If you live in unincorporated Hillsborough County and do not have working smoke alarms, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue will install smoke alarms for you at no cost. We also offer special alarms for the deaf and hard of hearing and children with special needs to those who qualify. Tampa Fire Rescue is dedicated to fire prevention through early detection of fire. Smoke alarms should be available through the Fire Marshall’s office.

INSTALLATION of smoke alarms is available for the elderly and infirmed.
