Dear Friends and Supporters of the Tampa Firefighters Museum,

On behalf of myself and the Board of Directors, we want to thank all of the first responders and medical community members who have spent the last four months responding to the call to action to help our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the June Board Meeting, it was decided that the Tampa Firefighters Museum will remain closed to the public for the short term future. This includes admission to our exhibits, group tours, and private events.

This extended closure is to ensure the health and safety of our staff and patrons. We are carefully following re-opening guidelines and guidance as offered by federal, state, and local governmental authorities and we will publish our re-opening plan on our website when we decide to reopen our doors to the public.

Even though the museum remains closed to the general public, we are accepting reservations for future events such as weddings and business meetings. More information about how you can rent the firehouse for your next special event can be found here. Our museum store remains closed to the general public but the store will continue to support on-duty TFR personnel. Our temporary summer store operating hours are Monday – Friday from 10 am – 2 pm. We are excited about the online store we will be opening later this summer.
