How We Raise Money

The Tampa Firefighters Museum is a 501c(3) non-profit organization. We rely on donations from individuals and organizations, including our corporate partners, charitable trusts, and other grant-making bodies. We also raise money through annual fundraisers, and the profits earned from our store and special event rentals.

How Your Donation is Spent

All funds raised go towards the operational expenses for the museum and fund the cultural and civic programs, exhibitions, seminars, training workshops, and children’s programs offered to of the public.

How To Donate

You can mail us a donation or donate online.

If mailing us a donation, please follow these instructions:

  1. Make a check payable to “Tampa Firefighters Museum, Inc.”
  2. On the memo line of the check, please indicate that the donation is for “Tampa Firefighters Museum, Inc.”

Can I donate by check or money order?

Yes, we accept donations by check or money order.

You can send in your check or money order, made payable to Tampa Firefighters Museum, Inc., to the Museum Concierge at 720 E Zack St Tampa, FL 33602. Please include a cover letter with your name, address, and phone number.

Can I donate as gift to a friend or family member?

If you want to make a donation as a gift to a friend or relative, just contact our Museum Concierge at Concierge@TampaFirefighterMuseum.org after you have made your donation. They will be able to track your donation and make sure a suitable thank you is provided.

Can I Specify a project or program for my donation to be earmarked for

We will do our best to accomidate your request. Please contact Museum Concierge at Concierge@TampaFirefighterMuseum.org to discuss how you would like your donation used.

Can my Group Hold a Fundraiser to benefit the Tampa Firefighters Museum?

Yes! We have had fundraisers held to benefit us in the past by local non-profit organizations, businesses, and krewes. Contact our Museum Concierge at Concierge@TampaFirefighterMuseum.org to discuss your ideas..
