The Tampa Firefighters Museum is proud to present the Downtown Safety District!
The Downtown Safety District (DSD) is an interactive children's exhibit designed to educate, inspire, and encourage imaginative play while introducing young visitors to the important roles of safety and healthcare professionals. The exhibit is specially designed for children ages 1–8.
The DSD features hands-on experiences modeled after familiar community spaces, including a downtown Tampa streetscape, fire station, playhouse, emergency room, ambulance, and café. Through interactive play, children can explore, learn, and discover how first responders and healthcare workers help keep our communities safe every day.
Whether they're responding to an emergency, caring for patients, or serving their community, young visitors are invited to learn through play while creating lasting memories with family and friends.
